Boxed up the 928 yesterday and drove it to Pontiac. There an expert mechanic named Stephen will work his magic on the head gasket and other bits. Stephen comes highly recommended by every Porsche owner I’ve met and specializes in building/prepping race cars, in particular 944s. I’m looking forward to seeing what he learns. It is uniquely comforting to have somebody that knows and cares for these cars giving it their full attention without the fear of being raked over the coals. Meanwhile, my mother-in-law can finally sweep her garage.
