Restoration Wednesday – Before & After, Fixing the Tail Light

I used the rock-chip touch up method for a big divot. Blend it the best you can, so from 10 feet you don’t really see it. At this point, I just don’t see the car being worth it to strip the panel, paint and redo the original pin striping. There are so many other things I need to focus on to get this back on the road. Cosmetically, this car is alright even with me giving it the hammer time. Which BTW would have turned out slightly better but there is a metal panel for mounting the tail light right welded in about 2/3 into that bend.
