July 10, 2011 – The winning bid was $10,850.

You know I was fairly encouraged by this car although I’d never by a 2.7.  It started out sounding nice and original but by the end of the writeup, I wanted to take a shower.

“1974 Porsche 911 – Original 2.7 Coupe – true classic in excellent condition. Private seller, clear title, show or drive – always garaged. No rust, runs and drives great. Original Fuchs, new Dunlop tires, new battery. Owners manual, original spare tire. Has AC, turns freely, but I never connected and needs charging. Motor original 2.7 Fuel Injected – 83000 miles, runs strong. 5 Speed, Shifts easily. Originally a Brown car, painted 10 years ago, clear coat black, beautiful paint (see pics) – really nice. Floorboards all solid, original carpets. Interior is great, no cracks in dash, headliner great. Does have an oil drip. Passenger seat does have a couple tears in it, see pics, and passenger side mirror glass is missing. Gauges all work – except clock and odometer not working although speedo works. Newer CD/FM Radio/speakers. Well maintained classic. Must Sacrifice! As is! LOW RESERVE Auction! NADA blue book list: over $17k, reserve is much less. Check Classic Car NADA prices here…”
