1968 Bizzarrini GT America

Since this is completely out of the league of this blog and my objective of finding affordable classics for you all, I’m going to balance it with a Toyota MR2 post.  But let’s just pretend money was no object.  This would be killer, wouldn’t it?

It’s on Hemmings with no price but these are trading for about $1/2 million the last I saw. Lots of pictures on the read more link.

“Perhaps the only unrestored BIzzarrini in existence.  We believe this car was originally owned by Carey Loftin, stunt coordinator of Bullitt, among others, and may have been in the opening credits of the movie  Bullitt.  Other than paint and a few engine modifications this car is otherwise original and a great example of an unmolested Bizzarrini.  We have some original documentation and a fairly detailed provenance on the car.”
