Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, has won a $230m share of an order from Air China for V2500 engines to power a total of 22 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. The contract includes a long-term service agreement, with aircraft deliveries starting in 2010.

It still is hard for me to believe that Rolls-Royce and GE make some of the best aircraft engines around. Continental is making bio-diesel fuel from algae. Would love to see the combination of all this technology and reliability make it into a new automobile.
