November 28, 2011 – Cyber Monday is another one of those “holidays” created by the man to drum up business. As such, I have a slight disdain for the entire day… unless I get a swingin’ deal. I guess it’s better than jamming storefronts at midnight like it was a long lost Who concert and trampling people.
November 30, 2011 – Green sold for $4,649.99.
December 5, 2011 – White sold for $10,200.
Sooooooooo! In the spirit of the holiday season, I’ve found two Porsche 912s going off at no reserve in cyber space.
The first is a ’66 rust bucket green machine. It is running and has lots of original features like: the sport seats (with headrests), air filter cans, five matching steel wheels (although painted green), original door cards with no speakers cut in the them plus the window cranks have their plastic black centers. However the way its sitting, I’m betting the passenger rear torsion tube is rusted through which is not a fun fix. Outside Chicago on eBay.
The second car is a more put together recreation. This ’68 has the floors replaced and a over spray respray but presents very clean. With tons of pictures, I’ll let you be the judge. On eBay in Walnut, California.
