UPDATE: So the guys that showed up at my buddies Roy’s house a few weeks ago to buy this car, drove it straight back to Grand Rapids to try for a quick flip. It was on Craigslist last week for $4,200 to which we said “good luck.” I just checked last night and they dropped it to $3,200. You may recognize some of the pictures in their listing. They were taken at Roy’s farm in Ohio like the ones he sent me above.
Original Post April 26, 2015: My buddy Roy in Ohio also has this BMW for sale on eBay with no reserve. It’s an automatic but actually quite a nice runner. We took it around the farm. It shifts nice, brakes well and just plain works. Yes, it has rust issues that are hard to see thru dark blue paint but nothing structural. The bonus is a non-cracked dash. It would be in my garage right now. No, check that. It would be in my driveway because I have no room in my garage but it’s an automatic. I just can’t bring myself to buy another auto.
