“This very rare, collectors’ car is in roadworthy condition and must be seen. The Citroen Bijou, registration number URC 380 was no. 23 off the production line out of a total of 203 Bijous’ made at the Citroen Slough factory between 1959 and 1964. It was first registered on the 7th November 1960. It can be found for sale in Borden, Hampshire with a bidding reserve of £6000 or best offer. The chassis was changed some time ago but the original was carried onto its replacement. The engine number is 02761016 and is 435cc. The engine has been replaced with another built around the same time. It has a 6/12 volt battery. The last recorded mileage is 73,335. There is also a March 1961 Owner’s Manual available.”
After years in storage, the Bijou was pulled out of storage to a large crowd with their cameras.
On eBay in Liphook, United Kingdom for a reserved $5,000 to start the bidding.
