When I was in eighth grade my mom agreed that if I saved the money, I could buy an ATC about $900 worth. At the time, the 125 wasn’t out so the plan was to buy 110. I realized I’d get bored pretty quick on a small cc bike vs. something like the 250R my friend had. But I didn’t have the money my friend had. In fact, I didn’t even have half the money for a 110. But I started my campaign.
I was already pretty good at bumming fries at school, why not bum a little lunch money contribution to my three wheeler? It worked for a few bucks, so did Christmas, birthday and chores. But the vast majority of the cashola came from cutting lawns. A year later I was there. Too bad my mom wasn’t on board anymore. I hate to break it to you sonny, but you lose. I was officially Haley’d and ended up with a moped. Like that was somehow safer.
