Restoration Wednesday – End of 2025 Wrap Up

This is “An Indictment of Salt.” Literally and physically. It’s my next art car and one that has been in the works for years. I’ve written a small blurb about it on my website, my other website, Groosh dot com which is dedicated to my art. Check it out.

After much lamenting, I’ve decided to sell this 1971 Porsche 914. It was a fun story when I bought it and a sad good-bye as I sell it. But unfortunately, my time and money only stretch so far and this one needs more of both than I’m willing to give it. If you want to learn more, link here.

You may recall a couple of posts about this beauty, a 1999 VW Eurovan. It will be the tow vehicle for the 911 art car. To learn about the work done so far, check out this link.

The 1974 Lotus Europa runs and drives but it is far from a driver. It really deserves to have some updated posts about it that I’ll hopefully get to one day.

The 1987 Jaguar XJ-S engine block is at the machine shop. It’s getting spec’d, scoped as I’m roped into new bearings and rings. A full rebuild in the making that probably could have been solved by me pulling over earlier when it over heated.

There have been more projects but this seems to be a good update for now considering I don’t do this very often. I love my site and love my projects even more. But while many people would say go start a YouTube channel, I’m happy with an old school post now and again.

Have a Happy New Year!
