For sale: I’ve had this project for a long time but it’s safe to say I’m not going to get to it. Asking $2,500 or best offer
Overview:
- Purchased May 16, 2018
- VIN# 471 290 1848
- 1.7 Liter fuel injection, believed to be original engine
- Original Irish Green L60E, repainted white
- Off the road for 20 years, stored in a pole barn before I bought it
- Always stored inside since my purchase
- Engine out and car sorta stripped for restoration that never happened
- Rust repair completed in hell-hole but no battery tray
- Passenger rocker repaired
- Driver and passenger rocker has riveted metal on inside
- No accident damage
- Passenger suspension console mount needs replacing it’s available from Restoration Design
- Rust areas need attention all around floor pan, see pics
- No bumpers
- Engine turns over by hand
- Has complete fuel injection system
- Fuchs (no replicas) with good tires, no dry rot but older
- One wheel was sanded to attempt to lose the polish look at return to original. That wheel will need re-polishing
- Nice interior with minimal small nicks in fabric
- Nice dash although the vinyl is pulling up
- Cracked windshield
- If you don’t see it in the pics, it most likely is missing
