Picture Perfect Wednesdays

Here is a picture of an famous automotive artist’s studio. I met him one day outside of our office in Palos Verdes, CA. His daily driver is an original Cobra 289. He invited us to come to his studio one day and I snapped a few photos.  More to come on the reveal.

Any guesses who he is?  His style is pretty legendary with American iron and people.  I even saw some of his work at the art tent on the 18th fairway at Pebble Beach this year.  He didn’t have a booth but one of his pieces was hanging as a tribute.

That picture looks real familiar..did Automobile Magazine used to print some of his paintings? I remember them from somewhere since I was an original subscriber to that magazine 🙂
    I think I lost issue #1 though..

He may have but I honestly don’t remember. If you want though, we can look it up in my #1 copy of Automobile Magazine still in the original promotions folder from April 1986…. I need a bigger garage or I need to start caring a LOT less for all my junk.
