I would totally take a chance on this for the money. Where else are you going to find a 1200 pound chassis with almost everything there to jam on it. Fun kit car project.

“For sale is a project that I finally realized I dont have time to finish.
It is a mid-late 70’s Lotus 7 Replica Kit Car from England (it’s a Dutton B+) that was imported and built in Canada. My buddy and his Dad autox’ed it for many years (apparently it FTD’ed (fastest time of the day) all the time). He moved to the states, lost the title, and it sat for many years. I bought it ~4 years ago and still havent finished it. I put a fair amount of effort into it, but I never got it fully running. It runs on ether, but it needs a new fuel pump and the carbs cleaned.
Details –
1.3l Datsun engine (from a 510 I think) apparently it has some head work. I dont know.

I had all red tail light lenses made for it (had to get them custom made from Australia because they dont have Bedford Vans here)
