Japanese Classic Car Show

The Japanese Classic Car Show took place last weekend, September 28th, at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.  Reader Dana went with his son Ryan and shared a few photos that were their highlights.  Not hard to see why, they would be some of my highlights too.  The early Japan styling was definitely an era that zoomed right over my head when I was young growing up outside of Detroit.  But they offers some of the most interesting shapes coupled with power plants that simply performed.

    Wow! I would have loved to see that 2000GT and Cosmo in person. Never see those in the mid-west.

    There were THREE 2000GTs at the show. You can see the hood of one of the 2 white ones just beyond the Celica in the last photo –Dana
