Cars By Definition Are Not Cool

Using the highly descriptive term “cool” has moved from Dazed and Confused territory into the world of “fine” automobiles. You didn’t know? Take a look at the Google search results for “cool cars.”

Now, I’m perfectly comfortable to say “cool” during conversations with young and old alike and never feel the need to explain myself further.

“Paul, I’m going to the dentist to the get that tooth looked at.”

“Cool, good luck with that.”

“Groosh, just got a swinging hot date with a girl that turned 18 yesterday.”

“Cool, good luck with that.”

Such a universal word, it makes life easy. But when using it to describe a car, the true diversity of our American melting pot comes through.
