2011 Honda Ruckus Custom

September 7, 2011 – This only received one bid for $2,800 and didn’t sell.

September 4, 2011 – Ruckusi are cool.  This overly modified moped is a waste of time and money in my view.  But then if I was 15 I’d be drooling over it.  Ok… I’m slightly wet mouthed now. Just goes to show you can get more power out of anything.

Only two decent pictures of four this guy offered but I’ve copied his post below.

On eBay FOR THE LAST TIME for $3,800 Buy it Now is Sioux Falls, SD.

“Up for sale is my 2011 Honda Ruckus 50cc scooter. I purchased this scooter new off the showroom floor at our local powersports dealer and have put a lot of time and money into it in order to make a unique and overall enjoyable riding experience. All parts were purchased brand new and I have never had a single issue with the scooter mechanically in any way. I would estimate that I have put an easy 3,000$ + worth of parts into it and with a sticker price of 2,499$ the total spent is well over 5k at this point. The only reason I am selling is I bought a truck for the winter and am going to build another Ruckus once I am done with school so until then id rather have this scooter find a good home instead of sitting in my garage. The scooter itself can go over 50mph on flat and I have clocked at around 55mph+ as my faster speed and that is with the 12×7 wheel so if swapped out to a skinnier rear wheel it might go even faster. Other than that it handles most grades of hills fine and with the current rollers I have in it the midrange pulls harder than off the line so its great for cruising in traffic where you need to speed up quickly. This is a quick list of the parts and modifications ive done and I may have forgot some as I built it early this spring.
