Yesterday I went do to Napoleon, Ohio to visit my friend Keith. It’s about an hour and half drive from Dexter. We traded some Porsche 914 parts while sauntering through his pole barn looking at a terrific collection of 914s. He’s incredibly knowledgable about these cars after only a short time tearing them down, building them up all the while buying and selling. As conversations often do, we recanted glory days of incredible finds, projects and past rides. Saabs were on the reminisced list. I’ve never actually owned one but did rebuild the body of a Saab 99 with a friend during college plus drove and loved the 900 Turbo when I worked at Automobile. It was actually my favorite car that summer. Here is the only older one I found in my area today. It’s not the coupe and not the turbo but it is a manual and looks to be in good shape.
