“1991 BMW M5
3.6L Inline 6
5-Speed Manual
Black on Black
153k Miles

The car has been VERY well maintained, I have a book of receipts from the previous owners.
Being an early production car, makes this M5 especially rare. Around 500 4-Seat models came to the United States. This is North American car #58.

The car has a ton of upgrades,
SLS was Deleted,
Sits on Bilstein Shocks with what I assume are Dinan or Racing Dynamics Springs,
Has Blue SwayBars (Unsure if they are Dinan or Racing Dynamics)
Racing Dynamics Exhaust
Braided Brake Lines
Dinan Chip (Brings total power to 340hp and removes speed limiter)
UUC Stage 2 Short Shifter,
Custom Door Pods with Polk Momo Speakers,
Parrot Asteroid Headunit,
Front+Rear Dash Cam,
DDM 6k HID’s
etc

The car will include quite a few new parts too. Between school and work, I just dont have the time to install them.
Trailing Arm Bushings,
Rear “Dogbone”
Control Arms,
Thrust Arms,
Tie Rods,
Center Link,
And Pitman Arm.

Interior is in VERY good condition,
Steering Wheel shows some wear,
Seats were reupholstered in 2009, it is nearly perfect aside from some stitching on the upper portion of the rear seat has started to separate.

Overall, I rate the car a 8/10
It has no rust as far as I can tell,
It runs great,
Drives AMAZING for being 22 years old,
And its insanely rare.

As far as the bad goes,
It has a dent in the hood, dent in passenger rear door,
Some clearcoat is missing and various paint chips.
I do have all 5 M-System Wheels with the 4 M-System “Throwing Star” caps. (The caps do need to be refinished.)

I am in absolutely no hurry to sell this. It is currently stored for winter.
I thought I would offer it up, as I would like to start a BMW/Turbo LSX Project.”

Glad he’s not in a hurry to sell because I’m not sure I’d be a hurry to buy it.  Too many upgrades for my tastes.

On Detroit Craigslist.
