“Recent trade in, project car.. 1982 911, driven everyday by same owner for 11 years.. upgraded with a later model 3.2 fuel injected motor years back, 915 gearbox was rebuilt last year, has a very nice dash with no cracks, targa top is in descent shape, fully polished Porsche cup wheels.. engine is strong, trans and clutch are excellent, drives good.. body is in poor condition, paint is bad, upholstery is also bad, leaks oil.. buy it for parts or restore it.. 167k on odo, not sure of mileage on replacement engine.. $7,995.”
Would you believe I lost sleep over this thing last night? Imagine the possibilities. Track car. Drop the motor and make a 914-6 then sell the parts. Keep it together and drive it as is in the winter. A PPI with compression and leak down to see if the motor is strong like they say and this is one of the cheapest driving 3.2 liters out there.
