1974 Porsche 914-6 Conversion

It’s really quite killer looking.  Well done.

On eBay in Portland, Oregon with reserved bidding starting at $200.

“The owner started with a clean, rust free 1974  914; most body mods were done in steel at great time and expense. The front and rear bumpers and valances are the only hand fabricated glass on this car.  Even these pieces are one of a kind.

The top was chopped by 2″ and the body was widened by over 8”.  The greatest attention was paid to small details, the fenders weren’t just widened, they were completely reshaped to maintain the proper contour. The gas cap and the gas cap opening were done with stunning attention to detail.  Door opening is handled by remote, no unsightly handles to blemish the lines. The interior is hand stitched suede over rebuilt gauges.
Powertrain consists of a Dick Elverud built 3.2 litre mated to a 915 transmission with Wevo conversion. Fueling is handled by brand new NOS Webber carburetors.
Suspension is done with RSR struts up front, Bilstein coil overs in the rear, all four corners adjustable. Adjustable drop link sway bar in the front, poly-bronze bushings all around, raised RSR(19mm) spindles.
Braking is done with 930 calipers on 930 vented rotors.
930 CV’s and drive axles.
Wheels are Fuchs
7” and 11”.
This car gets an incredible amount of attention everywhere it goes, drives great, and would take years and cubic dollars to duplicate.

This is truly a handcrafted car from one end to the other.

Killer looking? That doesn’t look anything like Killer. Whereas this thing is all smooth, slick and black, Killer is all doughy, pasty and white. Nothing like Killer. (burn Killer, if you read this)
