This is on Gullwing Motor Cars for $450,000. Clearly not affordable but I envy their ability to find cars that are “owned by the same elderly gentleman for 35 years.” That guy has got to be, what, 110 at this point? He still looks pretty good in the pictures. Standing upright and everything.
Gullwing has been advertising is Hemmings for 20 or 30 years. I can totally see this guy reading Hemmings, wondering what his car is worth and thinking, I don‘t feel like dealing with the sale. Ring Ring Gullwing. What do you think Gullwing paid? $250K? $300K? $350K? I’d love to have their pockets. Been then of course they’d be empty because I’d never sell anything.
