1968 Porsche 911

At $14,750 on Hemmings and the same owner for the last 25 years, it looks to be a bargain.  Especially when you consider a 1968 Targa with the 100 liter fuel tank option just went for $111K-ish at auction.  That car was pristine.  This one is not.

My quick eyeball of things to do on this one include: non-matching motor, ducktail spoiler, seats, steering wheel, mirrors, I’m sure stereo, grilles should be chrome not black, bumper over rides are incorrect as well as Porsche reflector between taillights, yadda, yadda, etc, etc.

It’s a repaint that looks too white and is missing stickers in the engine bay.  Okay, okay, so I’m not going to buy it.  Jeez. Maybe you shouldn’t either.  But with a few cosmetic tweaks, you could have it looking period correct and probably have a nice driver.
